Find A Run Club was born from a simple idea: running should feel welcoming, joyful, and easy to access — no matter your pace or experience.
In early 2023, PT Mollie — The Happiness Personal Trainer — saw a gap. After Covid, London experienced a huge boom in run clubs and community-led groups. What started as grassroots meet-ups quickly evolved into a vibrant, city-wide movement. New clubs were forming every week. Big brands were building on the momentum. Runners had more choice than ever before.
And yet, it felt harder than ever to answer one simple question:
“Where do I fit in?”
With so many options, it wasn’t always clear which club matched your pace, your vibe, your goals, or your level of experience. Some runners wanted social miles and coffee. Others wanted structured sessions and performance gains. Some runners were brand new to the sport. Others were chasing sub-3 hour marathon PBs.
Find A Run Club was created to bring clarity to the chaos — a centralized home to discover London’s run clubs, understand what they’re about, and find your people.
Meet Mollie
Mollie is a personal trainer and an England Athletics Coach in Running Fitness. She has been leading London run clubs since 2012, long before the post-pandemic boom made them mainstream. For over a decade, she has seen firsthand the power of running communities to change lives — not just physically, but socially and emotionally too.
She’s also a passionate global runner, making it her mission to run a race in every country she visits. While she has earned five of the six World Marathon Major stars, she’s not focused on chasing PBs in 2026. Her priority now? Helping other runners discover the same joy, belonging, and confidence that running has given her.
Our Mission
Find A Run Club exists to:
- Help runners discover clubs that match their pace and personality
- Support the incredible grassroots communities that power London’s run scene
- Make the running world feel less intimidating and more inclusive
- Encourage connection, confidence, and happiness through movement
Because running isn’t just about splits and medals.
It’s about the friend you chat to on a Wednesday evening.
The coffee after a long run.
The nervous first session that turns into a new tradition.
The cheer zone at mile 21.
The sense of belonging in a big city.
Whether you’re training for your first 5K, building towards a marathon, or simply looking to meet new people, Find A Run Club is here to help you take that first step — and enjoy every one after it.
